What's it all about?

Life coaching is about
getting the very best out of life and enabling you to make decisions
that will improve your life. You may see a Life Coach for very many
different and diverse reasonsfor example: confidence building; using
Career Coaching to climb the career ladder faster; Executive Coaching to
achieve well and feel more fulfilled at work; to improve relationships
with family and partners; to learn parenting skills that benefit both
the child and parent; to gain a spiritual meaning to life, or a desire
to 'get sorted'.
What happens in life coaching?
On your initial session we will look at what you want
to achieve, how you will achieve it, and how every element of your life
will be affected, (and how every area of you life affects you achieving
your goals!).
You will be able to use a unique tool called the
Rickter to deter min where you are now, where you want to be, and how
you are going to get there. Sounds very much like a journey but as we
journey through life we need to regularly take stock of where we are,
and what steps we are going to take next.
We take the opportunity
to look at the internal map we are using to get us to where we want to
be and consider that "the map is not the territory".
You will also
consider and discover all the things in your life that are preventing
you from achieving your goals, drawing on techniques from Solution
Focused Brief Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and Neuro
Semantics.
We can also regularly review your progress to see how
far you have travelled towards your goals and make adjustments in your
approach to improve your achievement.
The whole process is about
you being you at your best, drawing on the resources and skills that
have within you and around you.
Our Life Coaching is relaxed and
comfortable and, although this is serious stuff, we try to have fun
along the way!
